| Hiring Status Currently, One Life Unlimited is only hiring Care Providers that have their own consumer that they are providing services for and in addition the consumer/family must attest to the good nature and positive interactions of the staff. Also if you are a family member provider, we are willing to discuss you starting or switching services to One Life Unlimited. All staff and families must remember that there are State mandated policies in place called 557 that dictate when a consumer may switch agencies and One Life Unlimited adheres strictly to that policy. More than a job If you are merely looking for a "job", then perhaps One Life Unlimited is not for you. We are looking to hire people who are genuinely interested in working with someone who has a developmental disability and have the ability to demonstrate patience, reliability and empathy. We can always provide training for someone to be a good staff, but they have to be a good person first. There are several agencies that are willing to offer you a "job", we however are not one them. What we do offer you is the chance to form a partnership with some very special people and their families and the opportunity to join a team of caring providers, if this interests you, please read below. Training/Requirements One Life Unlimited is committed to providing the very best level of care to those we serve and support . Part of this commitment, is having well trained care staff. Before an employee can begin working with any of our consumers. Staff must complete Provider Training Class, Orientation, Article 9 and CPR/First Aid. Classes are not paid work time. CPR and First Aid classes are offered by One Life Unlimited and the cost for this is $11.75 to cover the book and DVD which you are allowed to keep. Fingerprinting is $69 and a money order is required paid to Az Department of Public Safety. One Life Unlimited does not charge a fee to roll your fingerprints for you. The above mentioned fees are paid by potential staff, as they are considered staff property. We will in certain situations, pay the fees upfront for staff and then deduct the cost from the first pay check. Care Provider Provide direct care to our consumers. Services could include Attendant Care, Respite, Habilitation and House Keeping. Each consumer has a different need and it is the consumers choice how and when their services are provided. Positions may be part time or full time. Our goal is to match our consumers to a care provider that is close to their home. Whenever possible, hours of service are scheduled, so as to create a consistent schedule for our staff. Duties will also include completing all required paper work and keeping in close contact with your supervisor. Compensation Starting hourly wage compensation for Habilitation, Attendant Care, Respite and House Keeping depends on your experience. Contact us to discuss wage matching possibilities. Family members that become care providers for their relative receive a higher rate of hourly pay. Please contact us to inquire about the current hourly rates for Habilitation, Respite and Attendant Care, if provided by a family member. Pay Cycle One Life Unlimited pays all employees twice a month, on the 12th and 26th. Perks

| Choice It is the consumers choice who it is that becomes their care provider. Our first option is always to inquire if the consumer has a friend, family member or someone else they want to select as their provider. If they have someone, we complete the hiring process and if appropriate, offer a position and complete the training process. If there is no one that they want to refer, then we do our best to have our consumers as involved as possible in the hiring process (if they so choose to be). From initial interviews, to staff trainings. This creates involvement in the whole service process for our consumers. After all, we do work for them. |
